Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center welcomes Dr. Reed Smith, a hospitalist

Dr. Reed Smith, a hospitalist, is thrilled to join Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center.

“I chose to join Essentia because I am excited to be a part of an organization with a commitment to quality patient care and a strong presence within the communities it serves,” said Dr. Smith.

Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He completed his family medicine residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

“It is the highest honor to participate in the care of patients, and I strive to do so in a way that takes all parts of a person's story into account, medical and non-medical,” said Dr. Smith.
