Essentia Health partners with Virginia Fire Department to offer free car seat inspections

Essentia Health and the Virginia Fire Department are teaming up to enhance child safety by providing free car seat inspections for the community.

The inspections will be offered from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30. They will be held at the Virginia Fire Department, located at 115 Fourth Ave. N.

The car seat inspections are intended to make it easier for parents and caregivers to have their child safety seats inspected by a certified passenger technician. The technician will inspect and assist with installing the seats.

The event is free and on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration is not required.
