Recapping Essentia media coverage for the month of September
September 30, 2024 By: Louie St. George
September was National Suicide Prevention Month, and Essentia Health providers shared important information about the topic during several media interviews.
Dealing with allergies was another popular angle among reporters last month.
However, our favorite story involves Drs. Andrew and Jerry Obritsch in Bismarck, a father and son duo who worked together briefly until Dr. Jerry’s recent retirement. He delivered more than 7,000 babies in his lengthy and roughly 33-year career.
“In some odd way, I feel like Dr. Obritsch is also my grandpa,” said one of his longtime patients in the KFYR story (see below for the link).
Each month, we share some of our favorite Essentia-related stories on the Newsroom. Here are a few of the highlights from September; please note that some of these stories require log-in credentials and thus may not be accessible for all.
