Essentia in the news: Recapping media coverage from March
March 31, 2024 By: Louie St. George
Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month generated numerous media stories in the month of March as Essentia Health providers raised awareness about the importance of screenings and being proactive.
There also were a couple stories about Essentia’s large-scale donation of medical supplies from the legacy St. Mary’s Medical Center, which will be delivered — via Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Virginia — to Ghana. There, they will be put to good use at rural clinics.
Each month, we’ll share a handful of our favorite Essentia-related stories on the Newsroom. Here are some of the highlights from March; please note that some of these stories require log-in credentials and thus may not be accessible for all.
