Essentia Health to host walk-in flu events, including Halloween-themed event

This October, the Essentia Health St. Mary's-Detroit Lakes Clinic will host a Halloween-themed walk-in flu event.

This spooktacular event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Essentia Health St. Mary's-Detroit Lakes Clinic located at 1027 Washington Ave.

Flu shots will be available for ages 6 months and older. There will be Halloween-themed games and prizes and attendees are encouraged to wear their costumes. You do not need to be a patient of Essentia to attend and no appointment is required.
 
In addition to Oct. 26, Essentia will host several other walk-in flu shot clinics. These will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates:
  • October 22 & 29
  • November 5, 12, 14, 19 & 21

These events provide a convenient way to get vaccinated without having to schedule an appointment. Remember to wear short sleeves for easy administration.
