Essentia Health Urgent Care-Duluth welcomes Emily Martinson

Emily Martinson, a certified physician assistant, is thrilled to join Essentia Health Urgent Care-Duluth.

“I recently graduated after completing most of my training through Essentia,” said Martinson. “I found that all employees were welcoming and helpful with my education, and this was a team I wanted to be part of.”

Martinson received her education from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“As a new graduate, urgent care is a specialty that allows me to use all the skills I learned in school, and see cases that involve multiple body systems,” said Martinson. “I am also excited for the opportunity to have a patient population that spans from pediatrics to geriatrics.”
