Essentia Health teams up with Virginia Fire Department to offer free car seat inspections

Essentia Health and the Virginia Fire Department are making it easier to keep your kids safe while driving. The two organizations are teaming up to offer two free car seat inspections for community members.

The first one will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, June 27. The second one will be from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24. Both events will be held at the Virginia Fire Department, located at 115 Fourth Ave. N.

This event is for parents and caregivers to have their child safety seat inspected by a certified passenger technician. The technician will inspect and assist with installing the seats.
