Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Detroit Lakes welcomes emergency medicine specialist Sydney Eckhoff

Essentia Health St. Mary's-Detroit Lakes is proud to welcome Sydney Eckhoff, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in emergency medicine.

"I enjoy helping others and making a positive impact on people's lives," explained Eckhoff, a Perham native. "Essentia has values as a health care team that I felt were aligned with my goals."

Eckhoff received her education from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

"The majority of my nursing background is critical care," said Eckhoff. "When I saw the opening for an emergency provider close to Perham, I felt it was a good fit. I am here to listen and provide support to all patients. A patient's well-being is my top priority."
