Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center welcomes oncology specialist Lauren Blaine

 Lauren Blaine, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in oncology, is thrilled to join Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center.

“I have had numerous family members diagnosed with cancer, and I was exposed to the realities of the disease at a very young age,” said Blaine. “I have always been drawn to oncology for this reason. It is such a rewarding field, and I deeply cherish the relationships I have formed over the years with my patients. Being able to provide care to individuals during some of their most vulnerable times is such a gift.”

Blaine received her education from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“Having grown up in a rural area myself, I understand the unique challenges that underserved regions often face,” said Blaine. “This has helped to fuel my passion for working in rural and underserved regions.”
