Essentia Health-Spooner Clinic welcomes family medicine specialist Ethan Smith

Ethan Smith, a certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Spooner Clinic.

"I chose to practice at Essentia's Spooner clinic because I wanted to return to northwest Wisconsin and provide much-needed primary care," said Smith. "I am originally from the area, and have looked forward to returning home to practice ever since I started."

Smith received his education from Des Moines University in Iowa and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

"I do not want to simply view patients as a number or disease, but rather work towards connecting over time to form a successful relationship," said Smith. "Not only will this allow me to enjoy my work, but will lead to improved outcomes for patients as well."
