Essentia Health offering walk-in flu shot clinics

One of the best ways to protect yourself and your loved ones from the flu is to get vaccinated. With fall nearly here, that means it's time to start thinking about your annual flu shot. Essentia Health is offering convenient walk-in options for people 6 months of age and older.

Below is a list of dates and locations where you can receive your flu shot:

Essentia Health-Spooner Clinic

• Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-7 p.m.

Essentia Health-Hayward Clinic

• Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.

Remember to wear short sleeves for easy administration. Flu vaccines are covered by Medicare and most commercial and private insurance plans.
