Essentia Health-North Fargo Clinic welcomes occupational medicine specialist Dr. Ahmed Jan Malazai

Dr. Ahmed Jan Malazai, who specializes in occupational medicine, is excited to join the Essentia Health-North Fargo Clinic.

Dr. Malazai earned his medical degree from the Services Institute of Medical Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed a residency in occupational medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.

"I chose occupational and environmental medicine because it allows me to work at the intersection of health care and the workplace, where I can make a meaningful impact on both individual health and organizational safety," explained Dr. Malazai. "The ability to influence workplace policies, improve worker health and reduce the burden of occupational diseases is incredibly fulfilling."
