Essentia Health media roundup for February
March 03, 2024 By: Louie St. George
You don't often see a story about ticks in February. But that was the case thanks to the North Pine County News, which interviewed Essentia's Dr. Andrew Ames, a family medicine physician in Moose Lake, about springtime preventive measures for ticks.
There also was interest in Essentia’s community health workers, and the role they play in connecting patients to needed resources.
Each month, we share a handful of our favorite Essentia-related stories on the Newsroom. Here are some of the highlights from February; please note that some of these stories require log-in credentials and thus may not be accessible for all.
