An estimated 6.7 million adults in the United States are living with heart failure, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). That's why Essentia Health is holding a heart failure symposium this month.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Northland Country Club, located at 3901 E. Superior St. Patients with heart failure, along with their families and friends, are invited to this free event, which is sponsored by the Heltne Foundation.

Essentia’s heart failure program providers collaborate and communicate with patient’s primary care providers to help navigate best practices for managing the disease. By joining this program, many patients can expect fewer hospitalizations and an improved quality of life.

To RSVP, please reach out to Lauren Strauss at (218) 786-2646 or via email at [email protected]. Please include the first and last names of people who are attending as well as a phone number.
