Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes pulmonary and critical care specialist Dr. Romy Lawrence

Dr. Romy Lawrence, bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery specializing in pulmonary and critical care, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic.

"I chose to join Essentia because my husband and I were looking for jobs in an area that was suitable to raise our young family," said Dr. Lawrence. “Essentia and Duluth checked all of our boxes and I’m excited to be a part of the community and care for patients in this region.”

Dr. Lawrence earned her medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. She completed her internal medicine residency at Boston Medical Center in Massachusetts and her pulmonary and critical care fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern in Chicago.

She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
