Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist Dr. Cole Swiston

Dr. Cole Swiston, an ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist, is excited to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic.

"There is a huge need for surgical glaucoma care in the Northland," said Dr. Swiston. "Having grown up in the region, I always wanted to return to the area and help provide this service."

Dr. Swiston earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He completed his ophthalmology residency and fellowship at John A. Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

“My goal is always to form a partnership with my patients,” said Dr. Swiston. “Eye diseases can be scary, and I want us to cure them together.”
