Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes neurosurgery practitioner Leah Petermeier

Leah Petermeier, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner in neurosurgery, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic.

“I chose to join Essentia because I was born and raised in Minnesota, and Essentia has a great reputation as a health care system,” said Petermeier. “I look forward to caring for the Northland.”

Petermeier received her education from Winona State University in Rochester, Minnesota. She is certified by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

“I am passionate about neurosurgery,” Petermeier said. “I believe that the needs of the patient come first and I look forward to partnering with them on their health care journey.”
