Andrea Johnson, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in urogynecology, is excited to join the Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic.
"Coming from a small North Dakota community, I was drawn to Essentia Health due to its 'hometown feel' that reminded me of my rural upbringing," explained the Gwinner, North Dakota, native who began her career with Essentia while in nursing school. "I appreciate Essentia's commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and I resonate with its mission and values."
"Over the last nine years, I have grown both personally and professionally within the organization and am so excited for the opportunity to continue providing patient care at Essentia Health," Johnson added.
Johnson received her education from North Dakota State University. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
"I was drawn to urogynecology because of my passion for both women's health and the surgical setting," she explained. "Urogynecology presents the opportunity to care for an underserved population of women suffering from pelvic floor disorders that can significantly impact overall health. I strive to help women not only as a provider, but as a mother, wife and daughter – it is my utmost goal to improve a woman’s confidence and quality of life."
