Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes pulmonary medicine specialist Dr. Brian Aebly

Dr. Brian Aebly, a doctor of osteopathic medicine specializing in pulmonary medicine, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic. Since joining Essentia in 2023, he has been caring for patients in Brainerd and Virginia. He’s excited to now provide care for patients in the Twin Ports as well. 

“One of my main roles I see myself providing as a doctor is to be a guide for the patient through this part of their medical journey,” said Dr. Aebly. “I want people walking away from our appointments with an understanding of their current situation and the plan moving forward.” 

Dr. Aebly earned his medical degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his residency and fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. 

“I enjoy pulmonary medicine for its complex problem-solving and procedures,” said Dr. Aebly. “I also enjoy creating relationships and treating patients over the course of their lives.”
