Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes psychiatrist Dr. Gloria Tong

Dr. Gloria Tong, a psychiatrist, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic. 

“Essentia has an excellent reputation in the Midwest for its quality of care, as well as a place to provide medical care,” said Dr. Tong. “It is well known among my colleagues as a facility that treats its physicians well and provides a comfortable setting to establish a practice.”

Dr. Tong earned her degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where she also completed her psychiatry residency. She completed her geriatric psychiatry fellowship at the University of California-San Diego in La Jolla and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

“My commitment to medicine and my patients is genuine and an essential element of my character,” said Dr. Tong. “I have a special, but not exclusive, interest in caring for elderly individuals, in part because I believe that often they are underserved and also because they are very appreciative of the care they receive.”
