Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes psychiatrist Dr. Christopher Bayley

Dr. Christopher Bayley, a psychiatrist, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic.

“I chose to join Essentia because of its focus on patients' quality of life, its great reputation as an employer, and the professionalism and dedication I’ve seen in the people I’ve met here,” said Dr. Bayley.

Dr. Bayley earned his medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas in Devens, Massachusetts. He completed his psychiatry residency at Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma, and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

“I’ve had a drive to learn more about mental health since my teens,” said Dr. Bayley. “During my career as a provider in a different health care field, I often gravitated  toward discussing mental wellness with my patients. It felt like a natural transition to psychiatry when the opportunity to re-enter education arose in 2006. I am dedicated to my patients and to being available for them during every step of their journey toward wellness.”
