Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes obstetrics and gynecology specialist Dr. Katie Casper

Dr. Katie Casper, an obstetrics and gynecology specialist, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic.  

“I chose to practice at Essentia for many reasons,” said Dr. Casper. “I trained at Essentia in medical school. I received excellent education and was very impressed by the quality of care provided to patients. There is a strong feeling of togetherness, support and community. I felt drawn to return to Duluth to bring my practice here to join an incredible group of colleagues in a place that has always felt like home to me.” 

Dr. Casper earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Creighton University in Phoenix, Arizona, and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  

“I really want to ensure that my patients feel comfortable with their plan of care,” said Dr. Casper. “My job is to provide high-quality, evidence-based medicine that supports you as the individual. I enjoy having discussions about your goals so that I can best support you.”
