Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes Mariah O’Connell to practice family medicine

Mariah O’Connell, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic.  

“Essentia has made such an impact in my nursing career,” said O’Connell. “I knew I wanted to work here and I’m excited to care for patients in the region.”  

O’Connell received her education from Concordia University-Wisconsin in Mequon. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.    

“I enjoy seeing all patients but find helping those who are struggling with mental health, or underserved populations, especially gratifying,” said O’Connell. “I also have done continuing education on medical advances in women’s health and LGBTQ+ care.”
