Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes internal medicine and geriatrics specialist Dr. Rachel Maudal

Dr. Rachel Maudal, who specializes in internal medicine and geriatrics, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic. 

“I was drawn to Essentia because of the robustness of the elder care division and ability for me to practice a mix of primary care and post-acute long-term care medicine,” said Dr. Maudal. “Duluth is also the perfect blend of what we were hoping for as a place to settle down with our family.”

Dr. Maudal earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado in Aurora. She completed her internal medicine residency and geriatric medicine fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  

“A huge passion of mine is helping older adults optimize their quality of life and age in place,” said Dr. Maudal. “I love to get to know my patients and what matters most to them, and match their medical care to best fit their goals.”
