Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes general surgeon Dr. Sarah Diaz

Dr. Sarah Diaz, a doctor of osteopathic medicine specializing in general surgery, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic. 

“Having grown up in the Duluth, I have been anxious to get back since I left,” said Dr. Diaz. “I am excited to join a health care system with a hometown feel.”

Dr. Diaz earned her medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. She completed her general surgery residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan, and her colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. 

“The most important thing to me is the patient-physician relationship, and I will go above and beyond to establish and maintain that,” said Dr. Diaz.
