Rheumatology specialist Mary Weisberg joins Essentia Health-Mid Dakota Bismarck 9th Street Clinic

Mary Weisberg, a certified physician assistant specializing in rheumatology, is excited to join the Essentia Health-Mid Dakota Bismarck 9th Street Clinic

"I had my first interview with the rheumatology team at Essentia and felt like I had found a home with them," explained Weisberg. "I wanted to work somewhere that emphasized quality care to patients and provided a welcoming environment for new providers and staff."

Weisberg received her education from the University of North Dakota. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants

"I chose rheumatology because I wanted to practice in a field where I knew I was making a difference," said Weisberg. "Rheumatology offers a lot of challenges with chronic pain, and sometimes this can be traced back to trauma or stressors in life. It is interesting to hear a patient's story and help them through some of their challenges.

"I do my best to provide patients with the support, medications and resources so they can continue to pursue their passions in spite of the diseases they face."
