The Essentia Health-Mid Dakota Bismarck 9th Street Clinic will expand its weekend and holiday walk-in hours to 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., effective Saturday, May 2 (current hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).

"We are excited to expand our walk-in hours to the Bismarck-Mandan community," said Rebecca Flanagan, operations director at Essentia Health. "We know life doesn’t always go according to plan, and it’s important that our communities have access to convenient care options."

Essentia Health walk-in care offers an intermediate level of care. This can include care for illnesses and injuries that are not life-threatening but may need X-rays and/or lab tests that require a blood draw. Care may be provided by doctors, nurse practitioners or physician assistants in internal and family medicine. No appointment is necessary.

For questions about walk-in care, please contact the Essentia Health-Mid Dakota Bismarck 9th Street Clinic, located at 401 N. 9th St., at (701) 712-4500.
