Behavioral health specialist Dr. Megan Duininck joins Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center

Dr. Megan Duininck is excited to join Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, where she will practice as a behavioral health specialist.

“As someone who grew up in Minnesota and trained in Wisconsin, I’m excited to be a part of the community here and serve the people in this region,” said Dr. Duininck. “I chose to practice psychiatry because I want to help my patients live their best lives possible, starting with their mental health.”

Dr. Duininck earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

“I see mental health treatment through a holistic lens, focusing not just on emotional well-being but also social function, spiritual health and physical health, including healthy exercise and eating habits,” said Dr. Duininck.
