Alexa Meyer joins the Essentia Health Urgent Care-Baxter to practice urgent care

Alexa Meyer, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner, specializing in urgent care is excited to begin practicing at Essentia Health Urgent Care-Baxter.

“I have spent the last two years practicing at Essentia and in that time, I’ve experienced a supportive and welcoming environment that values learning, growth and long term commitment,” said Meyer. “I decided to continue serving the patients of Essentia as a nurse practitioner because I find great fulfillment in building and maintaining meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues.”

Meyer received her education from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I want patients to know that even in a fast-paced environment like an urgent care, I am dedicated to delivering efficient, compassionate and thorough care,” said Meyer. “I enjoy the fast-paced setting of urgent care, where every day brings a variety of cases and the opportunity to think critically and act decisively. It’s a setting that keeps me engaged and allows me to make a meaningful impact.”
