Alaaddin Kandeel joins the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic to practice allergy and immunology

Alaaddin Kandeel, MBBS, is excited to begin practicing allergy and immunology at the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic. Previously, he spent about 10 years with Essentia and is excited to be back.

“I chose to return to Essentia because of their resilience and determination to continue to reach out to patients despite the changing health care landscape,” said Dr. Kandeel. “I am excited about the opportunity to return to practice here and continue to contribute to the health care of patients in the Northland." 

Dr. Kandeel received his education from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan. He completed his pediatrics residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and his internal medicine residency at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. He is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

“I have an inquisitive mind, and I love philosophy and questioning things, and always will do my best to help my patients in addressing their health needs, which pertains to my specialty and areas of interest,” said Dr. Kandeel.
