Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic welcomes gastroenterology specialist Vicki Andvik

Vicki Andvik, a certified physician assistant specializing in gastroenterology, is excited to join the Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic.

"I've spent most of my professional career at Essentia working in various roles," explained Andvik. "I enjoy the culture and the people who choose to work at and get their care at Essentia."

Andvik received her education from the University of North Dakota. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

"Choosing gastroenterology as my specialty was driven by a combination of my fascination with the digestive system and the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives," explained Andvik. "The complexity of gastrointestinal diseases and the chance to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions really excites me.

"I appreciate the focus on preventive care and patient education, as many GI issues can be managed effectively with lifestyle changes."
