Kevin Bardwell, MD

Dr. Kevin J. Bardwell is a board-certified family medicine physician with more than 30 years of experience caring for patients in Minnesota. He began practicing with Essentia Health in 2019. At Essentia Health Staples Clinic, he provides compassionate, patient-centered care for children, adults, and older adults.

Dr. Bardwell earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota. He received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and completed his family medicine residency through the Sioux Falls Family Practice Residency program in South Dakota.

Dr. Bardwell sees patients for preventive care, including physicals, Medicare Annual Wellness visits, pediatric care, and well-child exams. He also helps patients manage ongoing health needs such as diabetes, chronic disease, chronic pain, and skin concerns.

In addition, Dr. Bardwell provides care for acute illnesses, personal injuries, preoperative evaluations, and knee joint injections. His goal is to offer timely, respectful care that supports each patient’s health needs close to home.
