Although most people recover from COVID-19 within a few weeks, others notice longer-lasting symptoms or symptoms that return for weeks or months after their initial infection. The most common include fatigue, shortness of breath, coughing, “brain fog," sleep or mood disturbances, headaches, joint or muscle pain, and persistent loss of taste or smell.
Patients and visitors must always wear a mask inside any of our facilities. Our decision to require masking is based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that says masks should be worn in health care facilities when COVID-19 community transmission levels are substantial or high. We display signs at our facilities that show masking is required. Masks help to protect our patients, staff, and vulnerable members of the community. Thank you for your understanding and support of this important safety measure.
