A series of 2 evening classes, Childbirth Preparation is based upon Lamaze Childbirth Education principles. It is designed to help prepare you for the delivery of your baby. It is ideal to take this class when you are between 28 and 32 weeks pregnant.
This class will cover
- Pregnancy warning signs
- Signs and stages of labor
- Hospital admission and routines
- Pain relief choices
- Vaginal and cesarean births
- Comfort strategies for labor
- Welcoming your newborn – characteristics and care
- Postpartum care – life after baby
- Tips for and the role of your support person
This class is a one stop shop packed with information for new parents! Everything from labor & delivery to breastfeeding & newborn care! This is an in-person class with no more than ten people. Bring your coffee & a snack to enjoy while we spend the morning learning about the next chapter in your life as parents!
