Essentia Health offers walk-in care for a wide range of medical needs—no appointment needed. Your choice of care depends on where you live and the severity of your condition.
We have three levels of walk-in care—basic, intermediate, and advanced. For example, emergency medicine is advanced care for severe or life-threatening situations, such as abdominal pain or chest pain.
If you have severe or life-threatening symptoms, call 911 or seek emergency care.
If this isn't an emergency, you should first see if your primary care provider has a same-day appointment. Not sure what type of walk-in care is right for you? If you're an Essentia patient, call our Nurse Care Line.
Our walk-in care options include:
Basic Care | Get walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries that do not need X-rays or lab tests that require a blood draw. Care is provided by nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Hours vary by location.
