If surgery is the best choice to treat your ear, nose, and throat (ENT) condition, you can count on the skilled and knowledgeable ENT surgeons at Essentia Health for exceptional care. Our surgeons perform a wide array of procedures including cochlear implants, snoring and sleep apnea surgery, and cancer surgery on the head and neck.
An ear, nose, and throat surgeon, also called an otolaryngologist or ENT for short, is a doctor with specialized training in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions related to the ear, nose, sinuses, larynx, mouth, throat, head, and neck.
Essentia's ENT surgeons perform the following procedures:
Snoring and sleep apnea can happen if your airway isn’t wide enough. Surgery may help if you’re not able to use a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine or the machine doesn’t help your symptoms. Our specialists have experience and training to perform procedures like uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) and laser-assisted uvuloplasty (LAUP).
If you have trouble hearing due to a damaged cochlea (inner ear), an implant may help. This is an electronic medical device that replaces the function of the cochlea. During surgery, the implant is placed behind your ear.
Choose our experienced team to surgically treat cancerous and noncancerous tumors that affect the head and neck. Learn more about cancer care at Essentia.
