As a patient, you may be interested in learning more about how much Essentia charges for a specific hospital service. We are committed to price transparency and provide a full list of our hospitals along with their respective services and standard charges for your review. A charge is defined as the dollar amount Essentia sets for a hospital service and does not include any discounts negotiated with insurance companies.
The best way to determine how much you will be charged for a service provided at an Essentia hospital is to request a price estimate. This will take into consideration your insurance coverage and show you what your out-of-pocket expenses will be. Essentia Health will promptly and accurately submit health insurance claims and/or work with you to establish a reasonable payment plan for any portion of a bill you’re expected to pay. If you don’t submit a Financial Assistance Program application, make a reasonable payment agreement, or meet your financial responsibilities, collection activities will occur.
