Support Our Vision Northland Campaign

Vision Northland is an inspired capital project to build a new Essentia Health medical campus on the shores of Lake Superior. Set to open in 2023, our new hospital will include:

  • A brand-new hospital tower
  • State-of-the-art surgical suites
  • Optimized clinic space
  • Devoted indoor and outdoor healing spaces
  • Reduction of our overall footprint in downtown Duluth
  • Single occupancy inpatient hospital rooms for optimal privacy and patient experience

These improvements and advanced technologies will enhance the availability, affordability, and quality of our care—transforming the way Essentia Health cares for our Twin Ports community for generations to come.

We invite you on this journey with us. Together, we can keep high-quality care close to home for our neighbors, friends, and families here in the Northland.
