Those who wish to apply for a Psychology Internship must follow the steps below:
Matched interns must be eligible for employment at Essentia Health. Employees must be eligible to work in the United States, must complete criminal background and drug screenings, and must consent to flu and COVID-19 vaccinations.
Candidates selected for an interview will be notified via the email listed on the APPI. All interviews will include interviews with the Training Director and members of the Training Committee.
The Psychology Internship Program at Essentia Health values individual and cultural diversity as defined by the Commission on Accreditation:
The Commission on Accreditation defines cultural and individual differences and diversity as including, but not limited to, age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, language, national origin, race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.
The PIPEH is not yet accredited. The program has submitted an Intent to Apply notification for accreditation through the American Psychological Association. Additional information regarding the acceptance or timelines related to the Intent to Apply will be added as it becomes available.
PIPEH is a Provisional Member of APPIC.
