The All of Us Research Program is a large research program funded and managed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) with the goal of advancing precision medicine. Precision medicine is health care that is based on you as an individual. It takes into account factors like where you live (environment), what you do (lifestyle), and your family health history (genetics).
The Essentia Institute of Rural Health (EIRH) is a partner of the All of Us Research Program in the northern Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota regions. EIRH is a member of the Trans-American Consortium for Health (TACH) – a group of health care providers and fellow partners of the All of Us Research Program that represent a large and diverse patient population covering the greater Midwest, Texas, and parts of Massachusetts.
At Essentia Health, we look to our patients and community members to help with this national effort to help advance the future of medicine. The health data you share will be added to the All of Us Research Program database. Researchers can access this data to conduct studies. These studies can help determine how different factors such as environment, lifestyle, and genes can impact your health, which can lead to new medical treatments unique to each individual.
Enrollment is anticipated to begin Fall 2018. If you would like to learn more or want to join the program, please call our toll-free number at 1-877-340-8058 or email email@example.com. You can also visit JoinAllofUs.org.
Once Essentia Health begins enrollment in the fall of 2018, you will receive information to complete the following next steps. Please note that these steps will not be available until we launch in fall 2018.
You will need to give an email address and password.
The process usually takes 18-30 minutes.
Once you have given your consent, you will be asked to complete online health surveys. Once you have completed the online health surveys, you will visit Essentia Health to provide blood and urine samples and have your physical measurements taken. Once you have completed these steps, you will receive a $25 gift card.
