Cardiovascular Wizard for Reducing Cardiovascular Risk in Serious Mental Illness

Funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, this study aims to lower cardiovascular risk among individuals with serious mental illness by implementing a decision support tool, the CV Wizard, designed to facilitate shared decision making between the care team and patient.

The study is led by investigators at Health Partners in Minneapolis, with Essentia one of the two other sites participating in the 5-year study. The Essentia research team includes Allise Taran, Paul Hitz, and Lisa Wilkinson.
