The purpose of this project is to evaluate the impact of a science-intensive research experience on students’ educational and career paths, using a staggered prospective multiple-cohort design. Students who participated in a lab experience at primarily undergraduate institutions and tribal colleges in North Dakota and the University of North Dakota between 2004 and 2014 are being tracked to learn academic and career outcomes.
