The Essentia Health Continuing Medical Education Program supports the organization’s mission to make a healthy difference in people’s lives. This goal is accomplished by providing evidence-based learning for physicians and other care team professionals to improve competence, performance, and patient outcomes. Impact is measured by learner intent to change practice and organizational performance and outcome metrics.
Essentia Health is accredited by the Minnesota Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Essentia Health has been reviewed by the Minnesota Medical Association and awarded Accreditation with Commendation for six years as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. Accreditation in the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) System seeks to assure the medical community and the public that Essentia Health delivers education that is relevant to clinicians’ needs, evidence-based, evaluated for its effectiveness, and independent of commercial influence
Continuing Medical Education (CME) is designed for a physician audience, but all members of the healthcare team are encouraged to participate.
Our goal is to implement and accredit CME activities that address professional gaps to improve physician competence, performance and knowledge. Visit the CME Activity Planning page for more information and resources on applying for CME credit for your educational activity. Sign in to your CME Portal for 24/7 access to:
