The Essentia Institute of Rural Health (EIRH) coordinates educational experiences for health professionals and conducts all research activities at Essentia.
As new information is gathered through research, that knowledge is communicated through Continuing Medical Education learning opportunities and adopted into practice. Each year Essentia provides nearly 415,000 hours of clinical education to thousands of medical and health sciences students and professionals including surgical and family medicine residents, medical students, advance practice nurses, physician assistance, pharmacists, and nurses.
EIRH is committed to educating and developing the future healthcare workforce to achieve its mission of making a healthy difference in people's lives. Whether you are part of the future generation of health care or an established professional, you will find a wide range of educational opportunities at EIRH to help you gain experience, expand knowledge, and enhance patient care.
Essentia Institute of Rural Health (EIRH) research efforts explore ways to make health care better for patients, bring innovation to medicine, and advance treatments. We encourage and support research geared toward developing new and improved medications, therapies, devices, and delivery methods. Learn more about:
