COVID-19 Vaccination Volunteers Needed

Here at Essentia Health, we're working tirelessly to make vaccinations more convenient and more accessible.

But we need your help.

As we've expanded vaccinations in our communities, it's clear we need more volunteers.

What You'll Be Doing

We are looking for volunteers who are licensed and can administer vaccines, as well as people who can offer administrative support for our teams at vaccination sites.

Below are the current volunteer positions available: 

  • Vaccine Specialist (with appropriate license) - performs tasks such as, administer vaccinations and monitor patient condition, provider patients with evidence-based information about vaccine safety, potential side effects, and the importance of immunization, maintain accurate patient medical records, and other duties as assigned.
  • Vaccine Support Role - support patient care staff by welcoming patients, enrolling people in MyChart, coordinating patient flow, serving as a guest service agent, and other duties as assigned.

Where You Can Volunteer

We're currently looking for volunteers in and around the surrounding areas of: 

  • Duluth, Brainerd, and Detroit Lakes, MN
  • Superior, WI
  • Fargo, ND

If you'd like to volunteer at a *clinic near you, you are welcome to fill out an application. If your area is in need of help, we will reach out.

*Volunteer opportunities are on an as-needed basis and may change at any time.

    What is Required?

    We're asking for volunteers who are able to commit at least:

    • 12 volunteer hours per month
    • For a minimum of three months
