Description

This class focuses on non-medical comfort strategies you can use during labor.  Topics include relaxation & guided imagery, music, aromatherapy, birthing ball, movement, positioning, massage, and using a tub or shower.  You'll gain tips on how to make a peaceful transition from home through hospital labor and birth.

This class is for women who are in the low intervention program or for those who want a natural birth.

It does not present the same information as the Childbirth Preparation classes.

Your labor coach is encouraged to come with you.

Due to the COVID-19 situation classes occur in the virtual setting using Microsoft Teams. You will be sent an email invite with log on information prior to class.

Please feel free to call the Prenatal Office or email Micah at micah.jaesperson@essentiahealth.org for more information concerning this class.
