According to the American Heart Association, choking is the #1 cause of unintentional death in infants.

This class is designed for new parents, grandparents, or other family members on how to relieve choking in an infant and how to perform infant CPR who want to learn lifesaving CPR and choking skills, but DO NOT NEED a course completion card.  This course utilizes the research-proven Practice-While-Watching technique of CPR instruction, is co-branded with the American Academy of Pediatrics, and provides an emphasis on CPR with breaths for infants.

Topics include:

  • Choking
  • CPR for Infant & Child
  • How to stock a first aid kit
  • When to call the doctor
  • What to do in an emergency

Feel free to have a stuffed animal or doll handy to practice these skills as you are watching the class virtually.
