Families Remember with Love Memorial Celebration

In recognition of October Pregnancy and Child Loss Awareness month, Essentia Health Grief Support Services invites you, your family, and your friends to attend the 39th annual Families Remember with Love Interfaith service which will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 6:00pm in the Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center Chapel at 402 East Second Street in Duluth, MN.
This service is a time intended for families and medical staff to gather, remember, and honor children who have died through miscarriage, stillbirth, childhood or adult death. During this service, there will be a variety of ways to honor and remember children who have forever left a mark on our hearts. Special activities for youth will be provided.
Families are also invited to:

Have their child's name listed in the program. All names will be read, and a candle will be lit for each child during the service.

Read a poem, reading, or share a piece of music at the service.

Share a photo of their child on a picture board during the service.
If a family is unable to attend, they can choose to have their child’s name listed in the program and a copy of the program will be mailed to the family.
RSVPs are not required to attend the service, however, if you would like to share a reading or have your child’s name listed in the program, please contact Grief Support Services at: [email protected] or 218-786-4402 before Wednesday, October 16, 2024. If you are sending an email, please put “Families Remember with Love” in the subject line.
Together, may we remember and honor the children we continue to love.
Parking is available in the green ramp.
