Essentia Health accepting walk-in vaccinations at Miller Hill Mall clinic

Essentia Health is increasing access to the COVID-19 vaccine. Essentia’s vaccine clinic at the Miller Hill Mall will be accepting walk-in vaccinations on a first-come, first-served basis this week and early next week. You do not need to be a patient of Essentia to qualify.

Walk-ins will be only for those receiving their first dose and will be limited to 200 total people per day. Currently, we are not accepting walk-ins for second doses. Those who already have received their first dose are required to make an appointment for their second. Patients and non-patients can use MyChart or call (833) 494-0836 to schedule an appointment.

The clinic will be accepting walk-ins for first doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech shot on the following dates:

  • Thursday, April 22, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday, April 23, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 24, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The clinic will be accepting walk-ins for first doses of the Moderna shot on Monday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Pfizer vaccine has been approved for those age 16 and older. Patients under the age of 18 must bring a consent form, signed by their parent or legal guardian, to be eligible for the shot.

On April 26, we only will be offering the Moderna vaccine, which has not been approved for those under the age of 18.

A recent study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were about 90% effective at preventing COVID infection, and nearly 100% effective at preventing hospitalizations and deaths.
