Essentia Health-Sandstone accepting community donations

In an effort to better protect our staff, patients and visitors during the COVID-19 pandemic, Essentia Health-Sandstone is soliciting community donations of homemade face masks.

Our drop-off site (705 Lundorff Dr.) is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week. Simply pull up to the mobile screening tent and a member of our staff will meet you. For on-site questions, please call (320) 245-3249.

Step-by-step instructions for a preferred design of cloth face masks can be found here. Additionally, we need unopened N95 masks, gowns, eye protection, gloves and face shields.

As we ask our staff, patients and visitors to wear masks, the demand for them has intensified. This virus is spread via droplet transmission, so it’s critically important to cover as many mouths and noses as possible.
